Eddie Hettel joined Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC as a trial attorney in 2021. Before joining TKK as an associate attorney, Eddie gained invaluable experience as a law clerk working with TKK’s attorneys in numerous practice areas, including automobile and trucking collisions, aviation litigation, construction negligence, premises liability, medical negligence, and appeals. He also worked at a local prosecutor’s office during his time in law school, where he assisted in preparing cases for trial.

While at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Eddie developed trial skills by serving on Chicago-Kent’s nationally-ranked Trial Advocacy Team. Those teams consistently advanced in national competitions, and Eddie’s talents were recognized when he received an award for Outstanding Trial Advocacy.

Eddie joined TKK to advocate on behalf of people who have suffered harm through the negligent and intentional actions of others. He knows that victims of personal injury often seek the help of an attorney at some of the most difficult times of their lives, and is privileged to help his clients seek justice with compassion and dedication.

Eddie is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.

He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017 and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2021.
