Attorney Shawn Kasserman Announces Candidacy for Third Vice-President of Illinois State Bar Association

Attorney Shawn Kasserman of Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC announced his candidacy for the Third Vice-President of the Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). A seasoned trial lawyer, Shawn is a founding member of Tomasik Kotin Kasserman (TKK).

After earning his Juris Doctor at the DePaul College of Law in Chicago, Shawn worked at Corboy & Demetrio, where he was a partner for 14 years. In 2013, he co-founded TKK. With well over $150 million in verdicts and settlements, Shawn diligently represents clients who are catastrophically injured or killed due to negligence.

Shawn has been an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association since 1990. He is a current member of the Board of Governors and was elected as Treasurer of the Board of Governors for 2019-2020. He is the Past President of the Board of Directors of the Illinois Bar Foundation, having served as First Vice President and Second Vice President. He served as Chair of the ISBA Young Lawyers Division in 1997-1998.
