Chicago Bar Association Launches Mediation Service
September 16, 2020 - The Chicago Bar Association (CBA) has launched a new service to help clients connect with mediators who can help them resolve legal disputes while expanding the ability of mediation practitioners to successfully resolve legal disputes during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. Through this service, parties can find highly skilled and experienced mediators who can help them use alternative dispute resolution methods to resolve issues in the areas of family law, personal injury, real estate, commercial law, and other types of cases.
Participating mediators must be CBA members with at least 10 years of experience, and they must have taken an approved training course. Parties to mediation must be represented by legal counsel. To learn more about this service, please visit the Chicago Bar Association Mediation Service website.
Attorney Timothy Tomasik currently serves as the Second Vice President of the Chicago Bar Association, and he served on the CBA’s Mediation Program Planning Committee.
