Chicago Bar Association Launches Mediator Training Program
February 7, 2020 - The Chicago Bar Association (CBA) has created a new program for 2020 designed to help attorneys build skills in mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). The CBA’s program is titled “Sophisticated Strategies to Become a Better Advocate and Mediator,” and it will consist of a two-day workshop that will help lawyers improve their negotiation, mediation, and advocacy skills.
The workshop will be held on March 2-3, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the offices of the Chicago Bar Association, located at 321 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago, Illinois. 15 different instructors will be teaching programs addressing issues including Common Elements of Successful Negotiation Strategy, Facilitative vs. Evaluative Methods of Mediation, and Arbitration. Participants will be able to earn 14 PR-MCLE credits. To register for the program, please visit the CBA’s website.
