TKK to Sponsor Kids in Danger Event Honoring Parent Advocates for Child Safety
On April 30, 2019, Kids in Danger (KID) will be holding its annual Best Friend Award Night to honor parents who have served as champions for child safety. This year’s honorees are Nicole and Jonathan Hughes and Morgan and Bode Miller, who have devoted their efforts to educating people about pool safety and providing resources to help keep children safe. The event will serve as a fundraiser for KID, and it will include a raffle and auction for gift packages and baskets. Chefs from restaurants throughout the Chicago area will provide food tastings at the event. Tomasik Kotin Kasserman, LLC is a sponsor of this event, and Attorney Shawn Kasserman serves as President of KID.
Kids in Danger is a non-profit organization based in Chicago that has been advocating for child product safety for the past two decades. Its mission is to enhance transparency about product safety, improve accountability for product manufacturers, encourage the development of safe products, provide education that will improve child safety, and advocate for improved safety standards. KID helps spread information about product recalls, acts as a watchdog on product manufacturers and the agencies that regulate them, and works with product designers to ensure that safety is a top priority. Proceeds from the Best Friend Award Night will allow KID to continue in its mission. To purchase tickets to the event, please visit the Kids in Danger website.
